Key Responsibilities

Audit & Assurance

  • Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits, including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.

  • Support implementation of audit recommendations and follow-up on corrective actions.

  • Assist with audit planning and facilitation.

  • Review financial statements and disclosures for audit readiness.

MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare and publish monthly/quarterly Management Information System (MIS) reports covering financial, tax, and compliance metrics.

  • Analyse trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management insights.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with internal departments (Accounting, Legal, Audit, Operations) to gather information and ensure compliance with tax policies.

  • Coordinate with external advisors, consultants, and auditors for technical support.

Skills

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Proficient in MIS preparation and reporting, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Navision

  • Knowledge of Indian Direct Tax and Indirect Tax (GST) laws.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CMA

Experience

  • 2–3+ years of relevant experience in audit, MIS reporting, and compliance.

  • Hands on experience in Navision ERP or Oracle
