Job Scope:
To manage operations at a transport branch comprising of planning and executing transactions. This involves vendor development, vendor management, FTL pickup, delivery, cost management, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and coordinate end-to-end movement of project forward and return shipments, ensuring service levels remain above 95% across all transactions.
- Ensure timely milestone updates in the Transportation Management System (TMS) for real-time shipment visibility.
- Manage escalations related to delays, shortages, and incorrect deliveries to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with transport, warehouse, and cross-dock teams to ensure smooth and seamless operations.
- Identify process gaps and drive efficiency improvements across workflows.
- Engage with the Project team to align on expectations and conduct monthly performance reviews.
- Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly SLA reports for assigned customers.
- Guide and mentor peers and new joiners on systems, processes, and client management best practices.
Experience: Minimum 3 8 years experience in logistics management, with a background in customer relationship management.
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any field.
