Job Description

Assistant Manager Contracts & Commercials (Transportation)

Location: Bangalore Office

Experience: 35 Years

Industry: Transportation / Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

  • Support bid management activities including cost estimation, commercial evaluation, and tender submissions.
  • Assist in contract management activities such as contract review, administration, and compliance.
  • Monitor project financials, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Prepare and review claims, variations, and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with project, finance, and procurement teams to ensure commercial alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable contractual, statutory, and organizational guidelines.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering with 35 years of relevant experience in Bid Management, Contract Management, and Project Financials.
  • PGDM in Construction Management preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project (MSP), and Primavera.
  • Working knowledge of PMBOK, GFR, FIDIC Conditions, Indian Contracts Act, CVC Guidelines, and Reconciliation Act.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts such as EBITDA, IRR, NPV, CPI, etc.
  • Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to transportation / infrastructure projects (Railways, Highways, Metro, etc.) will be an added advantage.
