We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Analyst Collections to join our team.
The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, reporting, and visualisation tools to drive
insights, improve recovery strategies, and optimise collection processes. This role requires
expertise in Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and strong problem-solving abilities to support
decision-making and enhance collection performance.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Analysis
Extract, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources using SQL.
Build, maintain, and optimise collection dashboards and reports in Power BI for real-time performance tracking.
Perform trend analysis, segmentation, and forecasting to identify opportunities for
improving collections efficiency.
Reporting & Insights
Develop advanced Excel models (macros, pivot tables, complex formulas, VBA) for
collection performance monitoring.
Present actionable insights and recommendations to leadership on delinquency trends,
customer behaviour, and recovery strategies.
Automate recurring reports to streamline reporting processes.
Collections Strategy Support
Partner with collections teams to design and evaluate strategies for recovery
improvement.
Conduct root cause analysis on collection challenges and propose data-driven solutions.
Track the effectiveness of strategies (campaigns, dialer strategies, payment reminders,
settlements, etc.).
Process Improvement & Innovation
Identify gaps and opportunities for automation and process optimisation.
Leverage data visualisation and analytics to drive continuous improvements in
collections operations.
Support compliance and regulatory requirements through accurate and timely reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
36 years of experience in collections analytics, credit risk, or a related domain.
Strong expertise in:
Advanced Excel (macros, VBA, pivot tables, dynamic dashboards).
SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, data extraction/validation).
Power BI (dashboard creation, DAX, Power Query, data modelling).
Background in Python programming
Working days - 6 days a week
