Perform Cisco NCS540 SWR / LWR(ASR 9 serious) router installation and integration as per approved MOP.
Execute IOS-XR system software upgrades (ISSU / non-ISSU).
Configure:
L2/L3 interfaces
VLANs / sub-interfaces
Static & dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP, ISIS)
MPLS / QoS policies
Strong in ZTP process
JSON script knowledge and modification
Validate pre/post health checks before and after implementation.
Execute:
SWR replacement / hardware swap
SWR migration
Topology changes
Bulk configuration deployment
Validate traffic continuity during migration.
Perform rollback if required.
Troubleshooting & Incident Handling
Troubleshoot:
Routing flaps
BGP/OSPF adjacency issues
Interface errors / packet drops
IPsec tunnel failures
MPLS reachability issues
Analyze logs and traces.
Support RCA preparation for quality incidents.
Coordinate with NOC / Transport / RAN teams.
