The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will strategically plan their approach to clients and offer compelling solutions to cater for client's needs. They are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships in order to meet sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Should be well versed with Engineering drawings, metal forming and manufacturing processes along with Fabrication processes.
- Hands on experience in the costing of the components.
- Should have worked with Fabrication and Machining industry, should be aware of Various types of welding processes, raw materials used CNC, VMC, HMC machines.
- Knowledge of casting, forging will be beneficial. Aptitude in delivering impactful presentations.
- RFQ Generation, internal processing of the RFQ within the organization, Customer communication.
- Explore new business opportunities with domestic and international clients. Willing to travel and stay at customer end for extended period of time.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Lead generation, getting RFQs, working on the RFQs along with cross functional team- Design, SCM, inviting quotes from SCM /Suppliers, communicating with customers etc.
- Working on the sales plan, business plan and monthly and annual sales targets
- Coordinating with Operations team, SCM team regarding fulfilment of schedules
- Working on the MIS (Management Information System) RFQ tracker, Payment Tracker, PO Tracker, Accounts Receivable trackers, New Business and New Product development trackers etc.
- Work on the presentations related to above area. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Timely escalations to management regarding project delays.
- Attending customer calls, preparing MOMs. Coordinating customer visits
Qualifications
- BE Mechanical / Production BE Mech. / Production (MBA Marketing/ IB preferred)
- 6 to 8 years of industry-related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of successful marketing strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Candidate should familiar with Fabrication & machining process.
