Key Responsibilities

1. Field Scouting & Site Visits
  • Project Identification: Daily visits to high-growth zones (GIFT City, Sindhubhavan Road) to identify new commercial projects reaching the finishing stage.
  • Cold Visits: Approaching site supervisors or project leads at active construction sites to identify the tenant and the decision-maker.
2. Stakeholder Networking (The Gatekeepers)
  • Architect & PMC Relations: Building a personal rapport with Ahmedabad-based architects and PMCs (like JLL or CBRE) to ensure SMK is on their approved vendor list.
  • Developer Collaboration: Coordinating with leasing teams at firms like Shilp or Brigade to get early leads on MNCs that have just signed a lease.
3. Digital & Strategic Growth
  • LinkedIn Prospecting: Using Sales Navigator to target New Hires (Admin/Facility Heads) at companies expanding into GIFT City.
  • Proposal Coordination: Understanding client requirements and coordinating with your design team in Vadodara to prepare 3D renders and quotes.

KPIs
  • Number of New Qualified Leads generated per month.
  • Number of Architect/PMC meetings conducted weekly.
  • Pipeline Value: Total value of active quotes currently being negotiated.

1. Essential Experience & Education
  • Industry Background: A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales specifically within modular furniture, corporate interiors, building materials, or real estate.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, or Interior Design is standard; an MBA is often preferred for managerial roles.
  • Proven Track Record: Evidence of closing high-value B2B projects and meeting revenue targets in the Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar market.
2. Core Skills & Competencies
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain trust-based, long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and PMC teams (like JLL or CBRE).
  • Strategic Prospecting: Skilled in lead generation through diverse channels, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, site visits, and cold calling.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) for tracking leads and making persuasive client presentations.
  • Negotiation & Persuasion: Strong ability to negotiate contracts and terms that satisfy both the client and the organization.
3. Founder-Led Mindset
  • Extreme Ownership: The candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working independently without a large support system.
  • Scrappiness: Ability to create their own outreach materials, like emails and basic decks, and find creative ways to reach decision-makers.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where they may need to handle multiple priorities and adjust strategies based on real-time market feedback.
4. Local Requirements
  • Language & Mobility: Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati is essential for local networking. They must also have a willingness to travel extensively within the city for field visits.
