Direct Tax :
The incumbent will be responsible for managing direct tax compliances, assessments, transfer pricing matters, tax audits, and litigation support across the Group entities. The detailed responsibilities are given below:
- Prepare, review, and file income tax returns and ensure timely compliance with applicable tax regulations
- Coordinate and support tax audit preparation and finalization
- Review General Ledger accounts and financial records from a direct tax perspective and identify tax-sensitive transactions for income tax returns, tax audits and tax assessments
- Perform reconciliations between books of accounts, tax returns, tax audit reports, financial statements, TDS expense and 26AS reconciliation.
- Review of TDS applicability on transactions
- Prepare detailed schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for tax audits, tax computation, assessments, transfer pricing audits, and litigation matters
- Prepare and collate data required for assessments, tax notices, and appellate proceedings, and coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely submissions
- Assist in representing the Company before tax authorities and support external consultants during assessments
- Monitor and pursue income tax refunds, rectifications, and related matters with tax authorities
- Track changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business
- Review tax positions adopted in assessments and provide technical support on direct tax matters
Qualification & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
- 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in Direct Taxation
- Prior exposure to corporate tax & transfer pricing compliances, tax assessments, and litigation support will be preferred

- Strong knowledge of the Income-tax Act, transfer pricing regulations, and related compliances
- Strong accounting knowledge with experience in General Ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations
- Ability to analyze large volumes of financial data and prepare assessment-ready schedules and reconciliations

- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and tax compliance/reporting tools
