About the Role - We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Storage Administrator to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in managing and optimizing cloud storage solutions, with expertise in Azure NetApp Files, Amazon FSx, NetApp Cloud Volume ONTAP, Commvault, and Azure/AWS Backups.
Responsibilities
- Storage Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Azure NetApp Files, Amazon FSx, NetApp Cloud Volume ONTAP, and other cloud storage solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of storage systems by implementing best practices and tuning configurations.
- Data Protection: Implement and manage data protection solutions, including snapshots, backups, and disaster recovery strategies using Commvault and Azure/AWS Backup services.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor storage systems for performance issues and resolve any incidents or problems promptly.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure storage environments meet security and compliance requirements, including data encryption and access controls.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to support storage needs and projects.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of storage configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in cloud storage administration, with a focus on Azure NetApp Files, Amazon FSx, NetApp Cloud Volume ONTAP, Commvault, and Azure/AWS Backups.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing Network File System (NFS) and Server Message Block (SMB) file shares, data deduplication, data compression, thin provisioning, and cloning.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in Azure and AWS Netapp technologies are a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex storage issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Cloud storage solutions and Netapp Integrations.
- Knowledge of storage automation and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and practices.
