Job Summary
To manage all Maintenance , electrical and project activities effectively and efficiently to meet quality, delivery and cost as per the Company Target without compromising on safety of operators and equipment.
Strategic Context and Challenges
To meet internal customer expected quality and delivery demand. Have good hands on experience and technical knowledge to ensure zero accidents and minimal downtime as in some cases operating manuals or work instructions may not be available. Should be able to communicate with peers and superiors clearly and seek guidance whenever required.
Able to manage 5-10 people
Deliverables
Improve MTBF and MTTR. Implement suggestions. Ensure 5s in all department areas. Ensure breakdowns are not repeated. Adherence to the planned activities.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities and Activities
Co-ordination with other functions within the organisation for day to day operational issues
Co-ordinating all improvement projects by giving exact requirements, getting quotations and completion of the task within the specified cost, time and meeting all the safety, quality and delivery requirements
Maintaining all the utilities by meeting all quality, safety and statutory/Legal requirements
To ensure that production does not affect due to any maintenance stoppages
To plan and maintain the minimum spares to ensure that equipment does not stop due to non-availability of spare
To improve the present working condition of the equipments by cost effective and qualitative projects
To plan and carry out the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance of the equipments
Other Responsibilities
- Adhering to applicable Autoliv Standards and implement the same through the plant
- Compliance with ISO14001, OHSAS18001, IATF16949 and APS standards
- Overseeing maintenance of –
- AC systems across plant- Operation, maintenance and upgradations.
- Maintenance of UPS systems across plant.
- Lighting systems across plant.
- AMC for laser machines, UPS systems.
- Calibration and other legal and statutory requirements.

B.E in Mechanical / Electrical
Previous Experience
Have 8-10 year of manufacturing industry experience in maintenance of production and utility machines /equipment's (preferably from process industry). Have good knowledge in electrical, electronics, mechanical and pneumatics.
Languages
Should be able to read, write and speak in English and able to speak Kannada
Other
Agile and self-disciplined.
Ensure All Applicable standards viz, Safety Standards - ISO 14001, Environmental standards - 45001 , Quality Standards - IATF 16949 requirements are adhered.
