Inviting applications for the role of AssistantManager, Agile Business Analyst in Trade & Transaction Reporting!

In this role, we are seeking a detail-oriented Agile Business Analyst to support programs and projects related to Trade and Transaction Reporting under global regulatory regimes (e.g., EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, CFTC, MAS). The resource would be required to oversee a program of work aimed at efficiency and regulatory deliverables, working closely with both Data Services and IT, as well as other teams within the Firm where necessary. The Business Analyst is expected to own and drive components of the overall solution. They need to be hands-on in terms of the detail and be able to manage and influence others in terms of delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate across regulatory initiatives such as EMIR Refit, CFTC Rewrite, JFSA changes, etc.

  • Coordinate UAT planning, training, and post-implementation reviews.

  • Strong communication skills - particularly in written documentation (user stories, operating procedures, process flow mapping etc.)

  • Experience in managing relationships with senior clients.

  • Strong attention to requirements gathering, discussion and delivery.

  • Prior process improvement, business analysis, and project management experience

  • Clear understanding of business analysis approaches and concepts.

  • Experience in defining business requirements.

  • Experience in managing and executing testing activities, production checkout.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and define approaches to bring un-focused issues to resolution.

  • Strong Agile experience, JIRA, Confluence, User Story, Acceptance Criteria, Visio and Signavio process tools, UI Framework experience, SQL and process flow.

  • Leading detailed analysis with line staff, wider Ops groups and Business Units to formulate and Consolidate business requirements.

  • Managing the documentation of business processes including business rules and reference data requirements

  • Preparation of test strategies and approaches, documentation of test scripts and test execution delivery techniques, having delivered using Agile methodology in previous roles.

  • Responsible to define and implement data quality standards across process to reduce manual intervention.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant years of experience in BA within investment banking, capital markets, or regulatory change programs.

  • Strong understanding of Trade and Transaction Reporting regulations: EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, CFTC, MAS, ASIC, etc.

  • Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel).

  • Experience in working across multi-disciplinary teams-technology, operations, compliance, and legal.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, high-impact environment.

  • Qualified at degree level or equivalent industry experience in Trade and Transaction Reporting.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to handle volume spikes and prioritize work including ad-hoc requests and projects to meet business demands in a timely manner.

  • Ability to recognize potential risk issues and escalate/report on a timely basis.

  • Adaptability and flexibility, ability to perform under pressure or in changing environment.

  • Outstanding attention to details and analytical ability

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Visio and Signavio process flow tools

  • Self-driven, capable of performing day-to-day activities with minimal guidance supervision.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and gain consensus across different groups.

  • Experience of managing Ops/ Tech projects through agile

  • Experience of managing large data projects, data lineage and data quality

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field.

  • Familiarity with data lineage, regulatory reporting platforms (e.g., DTCC, UnaVista), and trade lifecycle is advantageous.
