Job Purpose: This role is responsible for is responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient monitoring, validation, and analysis of asset performance data. This role involves operating in shifts to maintain seamless APM operations, validating data, screening and analyzing alerts, managing cases, and supporting the team lead in model maintenance and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead - APM

Data Validation And Escalation

Operate in assigned shift to ensure continuous monitoring and seamless operations within the APM (Asset Performance Monitoring) framework.

Thoroughly scan the entire platform to verify that the correct data is being received, ensuring there are no data gaps and all information is correctly flowing into the system.

In cases where data received is not satisfactory, promptly flag the issue to the OPRS (Operational Performance Management System) and Automation team for immediate resolution.

Inform the ENOC management team of any data discrepancies to ensure all stakeholders are aware and can take appropriate action.

Ensure immediate escalation with the respective stakeholders in situations where the data received is incorrect, facilitating quick resolution and maintaining data integrity.

Alert Screening And Analysis

Once data validation is complete, initiate the screening process for alerts, analyzing each alert for specific plants by reviewing trends and incorporating other sensor data available in the cloud.

Place alerts that seem potentially significant on the watch window, following inputs and guidelines from the team lead.

Document comments and observations against each alert, ensuring continuity and clarity for the next shift personnel.

Coordinate with site representatives to confirm alerts observed for specific plants, acting on the watch window alerts as per team lead inputs.

In cases where alerts on the watch window indicate serious issues, escalate these to the team lead for further action and involvement.

Case Management And Reporting

Review SAP notifications generated for the site to double-check alerts before contacting the site, ensuring the accuracy and validity of the alerts received.

Raise tickets for alerts identified as genuine issues, providing a detailed case history that includes historical process behavior, ideal behavior, actual events, and associated trends.

Incorporate feedback from the team lead after vetting cases and issues, making necessary modifications to ensure thorough and accurate documentation.

Publish vetted cases on the portal for reference and action by relevant stakeholders.

Track previous alerts continuously, following up with the site for updates on open issues, and escalate any lack of updates by contacting the site directly.

Support the team lead in analyzing critical events at the site, such as equipment trips, providing detailed data and insights for comprehensive analysis.

Provide data to the team lead for all issues to facilitate report creation, including incidents like equipment trips and outages.

Performance Monitoring And Model Maintenance

Generate general performance reports detailing equipment performance over the last 24 hours, sending these to the respective SMEs (Subject Matter Expert) for review and action.

Participate in biweekly meetings with site representatives, tracking the status of raised issues, actions taken, and closure, involving the SPOC for the site, the team lead, and the operational SME(Subject Matter Expert).

Discuss solutions with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) regarding equipment issues, providing insights and data to facilitate effective resolution.

Provide data for biweekly status reports, detailing the number of open and closed issues, and operational impacts due to issues raised.

Collaborate with the team lead in performing model maintenance for the APM (Asset Performance Monitoring) model, ensuring its accuracy and reducing the number of false reports.

Maintain detailed records of historical work performed, ensuring traceability and reference for future operations.

Prepare comprehensive shift reports detailing alerts caught, alerts screened, issues raised, observations, and important points, and ensure these reports are reviewed by the team lead.

Support And Ad-hoc Tasks

Assist the team lead in supporting the project team during the integration of new units, participating in discussions, and providing basic training such as UAT (User Acceptance Testing) training.

Support the team lead in reviewing and developing APM (Asset Performance Monitoring) models and processes, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with operational needs.

Perform ad-hoc analysis related to alerts, such as identifying vulnerabilities in specific equipment and creating relevant dashboards by collaborating with the OPMS (Operational Performance Management System) and Automation team.

Ensure the maintenance and management of APM (Asset Performance Monitoring) dashboards in collaboration with the team lead, keeping them up-to-date and reflective of current operational metrics and status.
