Key Responsibilities
D2C & Marketplace Accounting
- Manage end-to-end accounts receivable for D2C sales and marketplace channels (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
- Track daily sales, collections, deductions, and settlements from marketplaces
- Reconcile marketplace statements with internal sales and bank records
Receivables & Collections
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely follow-ups
- Prepare aging reports and highlight overdue balances
- Coordinate with internal teams and marketplace support for dispute resolution
Reconciliations & Reporting
- Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts, payment gateways, and bank statements
- Identify short payments, deductions, chargebacks, and claims
- Prepare MIS reports related to receivables, collections, and settlement variances
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure accurate accounting entries as per company policies
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist during audits by providing necessary schedules and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Com degree (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
- Hands-on experience with D2C and marketplace accounting
- Strong understanding of marketplace settlement cycles and deductions
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Experience with accounting/ERP software
- High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
