We are seeking a sharp and reliable Assistant Manager Accounts to lead day-to-day accounting operations, manage compliance, and support financial reporting across the company. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and external consultants to ensure timely bookkeeping, GST/TDS filings, and audit preparedness.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting entries and review books in Tally Prime
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payment tracking
- Prepare GST workings, TDS filings, and coordinate with consultants for monthly returns
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor/customer account reconciliations
- Maintain and verify ledgers, journals, and petty cash
- Assist in monthly MIS preparation and expense tracking
- Ensure timely closure of books and assist in statutory & internal audits
- Liaise with vendors for balance confirmations and payment clarifications
- Support finance automation processes and suggest improvements
Qualifications
- 46 years of accounting experience, preferably in a startup or mid-sized company
- Strong hands-on experience in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime (mandatory)
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic financial compliance
- Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
