Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Interior Designer role located in Pune. The Assistant Interior Designer will support the design team in space planning, creating construction drawings, selecting and sourcing FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and assisting with interior design projects. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients to understand their needs, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring that designs are both functional and visually appealing. The role may also involve conducting site surveys and providing creative input throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in space planning and knowledge of architectural design principles
• Should be ready to do business development in interiors
• Experience in developing and analyzing construction drawings
• Strong understanding of interior design concepts, including project layouts and style applications
• Familiarity with sourcing and integrating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment)
• Attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related tools
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Prior experience in residential or commercial interior design projects is a plus
