HimTex Global is a NABL Accredited Calibration Laboratory offering a comprehensive set of services, including calibration, validation, multipoint area temperature mapping, and testing. We are hiring for Sikkim location.
Job Description- Assistant Calibration Engineer
The Assistant Calibration Engineer is responsible for ensuring implementation and maintenance of the quality system with the following responsibilities.
1.Overall responsibility on calibration activities of the company.
2.Maintaining technical standards and specifications.
3.Reporting on the technical and performance of the quality system to the Calibration Engineer for review and to incorporate improvement of the quality system.
4.Surveys and estimation of calibration projects and products.
5.Recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
6.Conduct periodic technical assessment for the Engineers / Technicians.
7.Responsible for NABL Accredited Calibration as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 with reference to National/International standard or laboratory developed methods.
8.Responsible for housekeeping in laboratory with the help of office peon.
9.Co-ordinate with calibration engineer and technical manager regarding training, auditing & standard instruments calibration.
10.Review and check all worksheet properly.
11.Make and check all datasheet entry into the system for certificate preparation.
12.Check and review all the calibration certificate hard copy for any mistake.
13.Verification of standard instruments before and after calibration, and maintaining their proper records.
14.Witness the calibration and Testing in lab, workshop and site.
15.Co-ordinate with transportation department regarding delivery and collection of instruments and certificates.
16.Report on the performance of the quality system to the Technical Head for review as a basis for improvement of the quality system.
17.Test and calibrate all serviced products.
Qualification
ITI/ Degree/ Diploma in any Technical Stream(preferably mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, industrial, electronics, mechatronics).
Experience
No minimum experience required. Freshers are welcome.
Skills
Ability to grasp technical knowledge and trainings, Knowledge on technical procedures preferable, Willingness to learn and implement, Coordination skills, Analytical and problem solving skills, effective verbal and listening and communications skills, having self-motivated work initiative, and computer savvy with the ability to operate spreadsheet and word processing programs.
