About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Assistant HR Manager to support the HR function across all major areas, including recruitment, payroll, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing HR strategies, policies, and processes to promote a positive and productive work culture.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition across departments.
Support payroll administration and ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements.
Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management systems.
Coordinate and ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory compliances (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).
Help implement and update HR policies and standard operating procedures.
Organize employee engagement activities and contribute to building a positive work environment.
Support the performance management process, including appraisals and feedback mechanisms.
Assist in handling employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
Collaborate with senior HR and leadership teams on workforce planning and HR strategy execution.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a supervisory or senior executive role.
Experience in the Engineering or Manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of HR operations, statutory compliance, and labour laws.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, take initiative, and support organizational goals effectively.
