Position Overview
The HR Assistant Manager will support the Human Resources function by managing end-to-end recruitment, acting as a business partner to stakeholders, and driving key HR processes such as budgeting, performance management, and organizational reporting. This role requires strong operational rigor, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to balance transactional HR activities with strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
- Coordinate with recruitment consultants and onboard new consultants.
- Ensure timely closure of positions and smooth candidate experience.
HR Business Partnering
- Act as a point of contact for managers on employee relations, grievances, and performance discussions (including PIP).
- Support managers in goal setting, appraisal processes, and increment cycle documentation.
- Provide guidance on manpower allocation and workforce planning.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Assist in headcount budgeting and workforce cost analysis.
- Prepare quarterly organizational charts for HQ and other regions as required.
- Generate HR reports and dashboards to track recruitment, attrition, and performance metrics.
Employee Engagement & Support
- Coordinate CSR initiatives with ATDC.
- Manage employee welfare facilities such as creche partnerships
- Support HR-driven engagement programs and compliance requirements.
Operations & Vendor Management
- Process vendor invoices and maintain records.
- Ensure smooth coordination with external partners and consultants.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the apparel industry.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and HRBP practices.
- Analytical ability to manage budgeting, reporting, and workforce planning.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to balance operational HR tasks with strategic initiatives.
- High level of proficiency in HR systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
