Job Description

Key Requirements:

Season professional in Stowage Planning and Vessel Operations & cost optimization experience from Shipping line organizations only
Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
At least 12+ years of experience in vessel operations, stowage planning, marine operations, handled live vessels and related operational shipping functions.
Person should be willing to travel to Dubai, Singapore & Hong Kong on monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Own live vessel operations across services and trades
Oversee and approve stowage plans ensuring vessel stability, safety, DG compliance, and optimal utilization
Coordinate with Masters, terminals, and regional operations for smooth port calls
Manage operational disruptions (delays, congestion, weather, port issues)
Optimize vessel-related costs (port costs, re-handling, restows, bunker impact)
Lead and guide vessel planners and stowage planning teams
Act as escalation point for operational and stowage-related decisions
