Assistant Export Manager

Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to drive business development by generating new orders and expanding market opportunities. It involves preparing accurate techno-commercial costing and quotations to support customer enquiries, while ensuring efficient management of order processing and execution. The role also oversees dispatch, logistics, and documentation to guarantee smooth delivery operations. A key responsibility is to secure timely payment collection and maintain effective account management, thereby strengthening customer relationships. In addition, the position supports new product approvals and contributes to NPD initiatives, ensuring the company remains competitive and aligned with evolving market demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new sales opportunities to expand business in US/UK markets.
• Prepare detailed costing sheets and competitive bids for customer enquiries.
• Process purchase orders received from clients and ensure accurate booking of sales orders in the system.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and timely documentation.
• Monitor and track all ordersexecuted, in progress, and pendingwhile maintaining comprehensive reports.
• Assist the plant team in preparing samples for new product approvals.

Requirements, Skills & Competencies

• Years of experience: 1-5 Years
• Qualification: B.Tech/B.E (Electrical is preferred)
• Strong technical knowledge relevant to exports and order management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of the sales cycle and order management processes.
• Highly motivated, hardworking, and well-connected within the industry.
• Flexibility to work across US/UK time zones.
