Job Purpose:

The Assistant Director Treasury will play a strategic leadership role within the global treasury function, responsible for managing liquidity, financial risk, capital structure, regulatory compliance, and treasury operations across multiple geographies. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong business partnering capability, and the ability to lead process transformation across a fastpaced, multicountry environment.

Key Responsibilities

Liquidity, Cash & Working Capital Management

• Lead global cash flow forecasting and provide insights to support funding and investment decisions.
• Optimize global liquidity and working capital across multiple geographies.

Foreign Exchange & Risk Management

• Manage the group's FX exposures and hedging strategies in line with policy.
• Partner with accounting teams on hedge accounting and related documentation.

Banking, Funding & Capital Structure

• Manage global banking and lender relationships; ensure compliance with loan covenants and reporting.
• Oversee settlements for FX, loans, investments, and manual payments across banking platforms.
• Lead global bank account administration (openings/closures, signatories, KYC).

Treasury Operations & Controls

• Ensure accurate bank balance reporting, reconciliations, and data integrity in the Treasury Management System.
• Manage regulatory compliance including RBI/central bank requirements.
• Support internal and external audits with high-quality documentation and responses.

Treasury Systems & Transformation

• Act as a key lead for TMS (Kyriba) usage, enhancements, and automation initiatives.
• Drive treasury process improvements, standardization, and global transformation projects.

Business Partnering & Leadership

• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and business teams on treasury processes and accounting impacts.
• Provide subject-matter guidance and mentor junior treasury team members.
• Contribute to strategic projects as directed by senior leadership.

Key Competencies:

• 12-14 years of progressive corporate treasury experience within a multinational environment.
• CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
• Strong expertise in liquidity management, FX risk, banking operations, and treasury controls.
• Hands-on experience with Kyriba (implementation or advanced operations preferred).
• Exposure to finance transformation and Big 4 audit interactions.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
