We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director - Insights and Analytics - Analytics

In This Role, You Will

  • Establishing and implementing the digital capability to empower the frontline with smarter, value-add tooling that's intuitive and customer management centric
  • Support senior product owners in their capacity for distinct components of the solution, with accountability for defining and agreeing the problem/opportunity statement among stakeholders, translating with the business into requirements, through to design, build and deployment.
  • Act as a champion and ambassador for solutions, ensuring engagement and adoption is supported at regional/country level whilst acting as point person for senior & key stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and systems to remove unnecessary activities, reduce operational duplication and demise redundant applications to enable adding of customer value;
  • Ensure strong networks with key stakeholders are built and owned, enabling the function's ability to execute at pace.
  • Management & Leadership of Regulatory, Compliance & Operational Risk (Operational Risk / FIM requirements)
  • Demonstrate leadership on Regulatory & Compliance matters. Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with section B.1.2 of the Group Operations FIM. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
  • Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators. Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimizing relations with regulators

To Be Successful You Will

  • Agile development, Design thinking and Program Execution best practice;
  • Ability to implement and improve customer experience capabilities by scaling design frameworks and tools to up-skill teams, and create a common design vision and principles;
  • Awareness of product ownership and working with IT development teams;
  • Appreciation of end to end functional development from vision through to requirements, then design, prioritization and development
  • Proven ability in functional/business management, working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environments;
  • Strong analytical background and proven ability to translate and convert underlying business requirements into technical requirements and be able to visualize end to end journeys;
  • Experience in making data informed decisions (user testing, MI analysis etc)
  • Proven ability to work in a faced paced environment and deal with complex business architecture
