Job Title:Assistant Director (YouTube Channel)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Director to support the production of engaging video content for our upcoming YouTube channel. The role involves assisting in planning, coordinating, and executing long-form videos, documentaries, and YouTube Shorts, ensuring smooth production workflows from pre-production to post-production.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Production:
- Assist in script breakdowns and shot planning
- Coordinate with writers, editors, and creative teams
- Help in scheduling shoots and managing production timelines
- Conduct basic research for documentary-style content
Production (On-Shoot):
- Support the Director in executing the creative vision
- Manage on-ground coordination between crew, talent, and production team
- Ensure shoot schedules are followed efficiently
- Assist with shot setup, continuity, and direction cues
Post-Production:
- Coordinate with editors for timely delivery of content
- Review rough cuts and provide feedback aligned with the creative vision
- Ensure consistency in storytelling across formats (long-form & shorts)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience in video production, filmmaking, or digital content
- Strong understanding of YouTube content formats (Long-form, Shorts, Documentaries)
- Basic knowledge of storytelling, shot composition, and editing flow
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Strong communication and team coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience assisting in documentary or digital video shoots
- Familiarity with editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro
- Understanding of YouTube trends and audience engagement strategies
