Role Summary
The role is responsible for managing working capital, treasury operations, banking relationships, and regulatory compliance. The incumbent will ensure adequate liquidity, optimize funding costs, and support business operations through effective treasury planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage working capital requirements including CMA preparation, consortium banking arrangements, and lender coordination
- Liaise with domestic and international banks for fund-based and non-fund-based limits (LC, BG)
- Handle short-term funding, term sheet negotiation, documentation, and facility availing
- Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, Customs, EDPMS/IDPMS, and statutory requirements
- Oversee operational treasury activities including vendor payments, statutory payments, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations
- Execute treasury transactions in SAP (F110) and maintain accurate banking entries
- Prepare MIS, cash flow projections, stock statements, and reports for management and stakeholders
- Support audits, inspections, and ongoing governance requirements
- Manage short-term investments such as Fixed Deposits and monitor accrued interest
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Strong expertise in Working Capital Finance, Treasury Operations, LC & BG
- Hands-on experience with SAP and advanced Excel (mandatory)
- Knowledge of FEMA regulations, foreign currency, SWIFT, IBAN, purpose codes
- Exposure to managing large working capital limits (300+ Cr)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and liaison skills
