Assistant Cost Manager - MEP

Turner & Townsend are looking for Assistant Cost Managers to join our award winning, growing Cost Management team for Delhi NCR office.

There are long term secured frameworks with national and regional organizations within the following sectors - Corporate fitouts

Will be responsible for the pre and post contract QS works including the quantification and budget preparation, verification of contractor interim Bills and Final Bills. Should have know how of the following: Quantity survey, Rate Analysis, BOQ Preparation, Value Engineering, Market Knowledge on pricing. Leading the project from front and other cost team member. Presenting the project cost related information as per Client requirement. Supporting Project Head in managing the project billing related works. Perform and manage Billing, cost and related compliances works, preparation of Cost Reports.

Role within the project:

To support the role of Commission Manager, taking responsibility for effectively delivering a range of tasks to high-quality standards

Main job purpose:

• Should possess in depth knowledge of pre contract & post contract cost management works and other associated works.
• Estimating, rate analysis & cost planning and producing final cost plan to client.
• Should have working knowledge of Cost X , MS Excel and other related software.
• Dealing effectively with quantification, preparation of budget, cost to complete, procurement & tendering process for MEP packages.
• Should be able to perform Cost audit work as necessary.
• Should have knowledge of implementing change management process & can prepare cost reports.
• Prepare and Review of Certificates of payment for client ,contractors etc. in line with contract T&C.

Should be able to assist Project lead in value engineering exercise

• Should be self-motivated and self-organized ,systematic.
• Managerial (understanding of managerial practice and potential).
• Should possess servant leadership approach at job and with team attitude to get the job done.
• Client interface is optional.
• Should be a team player

• Education Diploma/B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Should have relevant experience of working preferably for a construction consultancy in India/abroad, hold a diploma/ graduate degree preferably in Cost Management and possesses good technical skills.
• A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
• 6 to 10 years work experience with demonstrated career growth graph.
