Job location - HSR Layout, Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:

-Category Strategy & Planning

-Lead the development of annual, seasonal, and long-range category strategies aligned with business objectives and consumer insights.

-Identify assortment gaps, category expansion opportunities, and improvement areas through data, customer behaviour, and trend analysis.

-Continuously monitor competitive landscape, including assortment, pricing, launches, and market shifts to guide strategic decisions.

-Product Lifecycle Management

-Drive end-to-end product lifecyclefrom concept, development, and pricing to launch and in-season management.

-Collaborate closely with Design, Sourcing, Production, and Quality teams to ensure timely product development and seamless execution.

-Own category pricing strategy, conduct periodic pricing reviews, and optimise for competitiveness and margins.

-Analyse sell-through, inventory, and product performance to implement in-season interventions and maximise category outcomes.

-Data & Insights

-Own and track category-level KPIs including revenue, margin contribution, inventory health, sell-through and demand patterns.

-Conduct consumer research, analyse feedback, and translate insights into product direction and category improvements.

-Prepare post-launch evaluations, performance reviews, and actionable recommendations.

-Cross-Functional Collaboration

-Partner with Marketing to build and execute impactful go-to-market plans aligned to category positioning and launch timelines.

-Work closely with Operations & Supply Chain to optimise demand planning, stock allocation, and replenishment cycles.

-Liaise with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, margin tracking, and evaluating the financial impact of category decisions.

Qualifications:

-2 + years of experience in Category Management in high growth start ups

-Undergrad or MBA from Tier 1 or 2 or similar institutes

-Excellent communication and cross functional skills

-Detail oriented and structured problem solving skills
