Role Overview
- This role is the single custodian of how Cookd shows up everywhere.
- The Brand Marketing Manager ensures that Cookd speaks in one clear, consistent voice across all channels, SKUs, and campaigns without founder dependency.
- You will own brand clarity, protect brand integrity, and ensure Cookd scales with discipline and consistency.
Role Mandate
- Own brand consistency and clarity across Cookd.
- Ensure that everything we say about Cookd and our products is aligned, intentional, and true to who we are as a brand.
- Act as the final brand authority for outward-facing communication and reduce founder dependency through strong brand frameworks and judgment.
What This Role Owns
- Brand positioning, messaging, and tone across all channels
- Custodianship of brand guidelines and SKU communication standards
- End-to-end ownership of brand campaigns and product launch campaigns
- Creative direction across content, design, ads, and external agencies
- Translating consumer insights into clear, usable brand messaging
- Ensuring every growth channel uses consistent brand inputs
- Defining and maintaining brand narrative across new SKUs and categories
- Campaign briefs and brand inputs for growth, partnerships, and launches
- Reviewing and approving brand-led communication before launch
- Guarding long-term brand equity while enabling short-term growth
What This Role Does NOT Own
- Performance marketing execution or media buying
- Platform-level growth tactics (keywords, bids, discounts)
- Social media posting or community management execution
- Hands-on design or creative production work
Profile We're Looking For
- Strong brand judgment and taste
- Proven experience running brand or product campaigns end-to-end
- Ability to say no and protect brand integrity
- Comfortable working with creators, agencies, and cross-functional teams
- Clear thinking, high standards, and strong ownership mindset
- Strong preference for candidates who genuinely like, use, or strongly relate to the Cookd brand
