Assistant Art Director

We have an opening at our hive and this is your chance to see what happens inside it and be part of our growth story. The Assistant Art Director will be responsible for driving key online and offline campaigns and leading a team of designers in an effort to build strong visual brand identities for our client.

Do you fit the brief

• 5-7 years in design leadership roles across established brands.
• Has a well-rounded portfolio across digital and offline channels with strong expertise in defining visual identity and planning campaigns for traditional as well as digital media.
• Completely hands-on, when it comes to using various design software.
• Education from a premier design school. (is a plus)
• Leadership and team management experience.

What do others with a similar role at our agency do

• Manage part of the art team and align the art/design team with the client's vision and help bring it to life.
• Find the best artistic and technical solutions to problems that come in the way of realizing the final vision of the client's product/service, in different formats - static, motion, through shoots, mixed etc.
• Create, define, and own the overall design language for a few clients and direct others who develop artwork or layouts.
• Have an understanding and an ability to articulate the latest design and advertising trends in the market for a varied TG.
• Work closely with the team to create designs, illustrations, graphics, and mocks in line with the product/service principles. (both for digital and offline media)
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience
• Define and be the custodian of the brand's visual identity and design language.
• Translate business & brand objectives into great visual strategy and implementation across all marketing channels.
• Lead part of the design team and together put in place best practices on design thinking and strategy.
