About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager with 6–8 years of relevant experience, preferably from the AIF / Financial Services industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliances, payroll processing, vendor payments, and financial reporting activities.

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Handling end-to-end accounting operations and ensuring accurate bookkeeping

• Preparing and reviewing TDS workings, deductions, payments, and return filings

• Managing GST workings, reconciliations, input credit tracking, and compliance related activities.

• Processing bill bookings, vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and expense accounting.

• Processing payroll, salary workings, statutory deductions, reimbursements, and payroll reconciliations.

• Managing payment processing including vendor payments, bank transactions, and payment reconciliations.

• Coordinating with auditors, consultants, banks, and internal stakeholders for statutory and financial requirements.

• Assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

• Preparing MIS reports, reconciliations, and supporting management with financial data.

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, taxation norms, and internal financial controls.

• Maintaining proper documentation and records for audits and compliance purposes.

• Handling payment processing, foreign remittances, and coordination with banks for transaction-related activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Qualified CA Inter / B. Com / M. Com or relevant finance qualification.

• 6–8 years of experience in Accounts & Finance.

• Prior exposure to AIF, NBFC, Investment Firms, Financial Services, or Fund Accounting will be preferred.

• Strong understanding of TDS, GST, Payroll Processing, Accounts Payable, and statutory compliances.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software (latest Tally Version) and advanced MS Excel.

• Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
