Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries (receipts, payments, sales, purchases, expenses).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
- Maintain records of income from ticketing, F&B outlets, retail counters, events, and other revenue sources.
2. Revenue & Expense Management
- Ensure timely recording of revenue from ticketing system, online platforms, and walk-in counters.
- Monitor daily cash/credit card/UPI collections and reconcile with system reports.
- Control and track operational expenses (electricity, water, maintenance, payroll, etc.).
- Verify vendor invoices and process timely payments.
3. Statutory Compliance
- Handle GST filing, TDS deduction, PF/ESIC (in coordination with HR), and other statutory payments.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, and state/local regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance.
4. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
- Track actual vs. budget expenses and highlight variances.
- Recommend cost-saving measures without compromising guest experience.
5. Audit & Internal Controls
- Prepare schedules and support statutory/internal auditors.
- Implement strong internal controls for cash handling, billing, and inventory.
- Regularly audit collection counters (ticketing, F&B, retail).
6. Team & Coordination
- Supervise junior accountants/cashiers and allocate daily tasks.
- Coordinate with HR, Operations, and F&B departments for financial reconciliations.
- Provide financial reports to management for decision-making.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Tally ERP / SAP / Zoho / relevant software).
- Experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot, VLOOKUP, MIS reporting).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality/entertainment environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.
- 47 years of experience in accounting/finance (hospitality, amusement park, hotel, or retail industry preferred).
- Experience in handling multi-revenue streams (ticketing, food & beverages, retail).
