Closely monitor and validate key data attributes that contributes to important GSAM investing decisions
Verifying the prices on securities held in GSAM portfolios on a daily basis across all accounts, to ensure securities are set up and valued accurately.
Controlling the risks associated with any abnormal prices and securities as well as ensuring that these are prioritized, pursued and escalated to ensure resolution
Investigating and resolving standard product reference data issues that are impacting downstream systems.
Liaising with internal counterparties (Traders, Portfolio Teams, Trade Management group and Controllers)
Using your problem solving skills, you will act as a central point of contact/escalation for inquiries from the GSAM business regarding product setup and pricing.
Leverage your attention to detail by managing daily responsibilities and inquiries, while also working on enhancing your project management skills working on key market initiatives and internal system enhancements.
Grow with a strong team and develop a deep understanding of products and complex transactions while working with our business partners.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and experience in financial services
Proven track record contributing in a dynamic team environment
Pays attention to detail and can multi-task
Experience with Microsoft Office applications-specifically Excel
Data and Pricing knowledge is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of product data, reconciliation, trade management and accounting functions is preferred but not mandatory
