We at Coforge are seeking an Asset Transfer Services - Team Member with the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Graduate degree and/or equivalent work experience required.
- 2-4 years experience in the Asset Transfer Services / Securities Industry.
- Process incoming and outgoing asset transfers, including free-of-payment transfers, ACAT / nonACAT moves, and internal account transfers
- Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets Equities, Fixed Income, Traditional
- Assets, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Money Market Funds.
- Knowledge of custody operations, registrar processes, and settlement cycles.
- Experience with Custodians Applications like DTCC, HSBC, Euroclear.
- Experience of Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) tool.
- Developing skills as an SME (Subject Matter Expert).
- Preparing documentation for team and for management.
- Relating to higher level clients and proposing solutions.
- Complex problem solving.
- Ability to support team members.
- Independent judgment and decision making within the functional area of expertise.
- Preparing and implementing improved processing capabilities.
- Process incoming and outgoing asset transfers, including free-of-payment transfers, ACAT / nonACAT moves, and internal account transfers
- Receive and prioritize account transfer documentation submitted by clients or advisors.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on all transfer documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and good order.
- Support oversight of external custody processes, ensuring accurate reconciliation of freeofpayment transfers
- Liaise with internal teams (trade ops, cash ops, middle office) to resolve transferrelated breaks
- Terminating client accounts upon request from FO, ensuring accurate and timely transfer of cash and securities.
- Responsible for the daily process of activities, performs project management and coordination, and execution for the assigned operational competency.
- Primary focus is on day-to-day deliverables, developing solutions based upon subject expertise, representing the department at a broader level.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and other process related documents intact.
- Train, mentor, and assist in coaching any analysts and junior specialists as needed.
- Proactively recommend innovations and modifications which are in compliance with industry requirements and are consistent with corporate objectives and goals to improve operational processes, systems, policies and procedures.
- Ensure quality controls are met (Daily, Weekly, Monthly).
