Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Asset Supervisor to lead our asset development team in creating and
managing high-quality digital assets for VFX production. The ideal candidate will have a strong
technical foundation in 3D modeling and texturing, combined with excellent organizational and
leadership skills. The Asset Supervisor will oversee the creation, maintenance, and organization of
asset libraries while ensuring quality and consistency across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of asset artists and technicians across multiple projects.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of 3D models, textures, and related digital assets.
- Manage and organize asset libraries to ensure easy access, reuse, and version control.
- Collaborate with modeling, texturing, lighting, and other departments for seamless pipeline
integration.
- Provide technical guidance and workflow support for asset creation tools and processes.
- Conduct quality checks and provide feedback to maintain consistency and accuracy in assets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve asset-related challenges during production.
Skills & Attributes
- Proficiency in industry-standard asset creation software (e.g., Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance
Painter).
- Strong understanding of modeling, texturing, UV mapping, and asset optimization techniques.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality assets.
- Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and production workflows.
- A collaborative mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in VFX, Animation, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in asset creation and supervision within the VFX industry.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating technical skill and asset development leadership in film, TV, or
related industries.
