Job Description

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is a global leader in investment and wealth management, serving institutions, high-net worth individuals, and retail investors worldwide.

As a Vice President in the Markets Asset Servicing team, you are responsible for Income events across EMEA & WHEM Markets. You ensure timely and accurate processing of income events, effective reconciliation of claims, and seamless cash management, collaborating closely with trading desks, sales, finance, operations, clients, custodians, agents, depositories, and third-party service providers. This pivotal role provides broad exposure to J.P. Morgan's diverse products and operations, enabling you to deliver core business outcomes and gain high-level industry knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all claim event processing related to Income events is completed in a timely and accurate manner to avoid financial impact
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external counterparties, providing timely responses and managing outstanding items for both payable and receivable claims, including market fails and manufactured income
  • Validate claims processing and settle with counterparties, ensuring appropriate controls and compliance
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards, maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to relevant regulations
  • Collaborate with global teams to perform root cause reviews, remediate issues, and update processes and procedures as necessary
  • Maintain a strong controls environment by documenting all processes and ensuring the business is audit-ready and compliant with firm-wide policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide leadership by setting clear goals and strategies, evaluating staff performance through regular feedback and reviews, and ensuring effective succession planning

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in Asset Servicing, with a background covering Income and Corporate Actions
  • Analytical mindset and advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, escalate, and resolve complex operational issues independently
  • Strong ability to partner with multiple internal teams, external clients, custodians, agents, depositories, and third-party service providers
  • Proven capability to manage tight delivery timelines and execute strategic change initiatives that meet organizational goals

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities across global teams
