As an Asset Servicing Risk Analyst within the Custody Asset Services Middle Office, you manage operational risk associated with global corporate actions. You support client-facing teams, provide instruction management, and partner with Operations, Product, Legal, and Compliance to address control and service delivery issues. You ensure daily checks, participate in projects, and contribute to a strong control environment and positive client outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and manage risk on voluntary corporate action events.
- Provide instruction management support to clients and operational teams.
- Support global middle office client-facing teams with inquiry management for voluntary corporate actions.
- Partner with Operations and Middle Office to address control and service delivery issues.
- Ensure daily control checks are completed and documented.
- Participate actively in team huddles and departmental projects.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior business executives.
- Analyze and remediate risks associated with corporate actions using logical problem-solving skills.
- Develop and maintain relationships across Operations, Client Service, Product, Legal, and Compliance.
- Deliver results with minimal supervision while contributing to a team environment.
- Utilize MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and user tools like Alteryx and Tableau for reporting and analysis.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Hold a bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrate understanding of equity and fixed income instruments.
- Apply technical knowledge of corporate actions to daily responsibilities.
- Exhibit logical and problem-solving mindset to identify and remediate risk.
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal formats with diverse stakeholders.
- Operate proficiently in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Utilize basic knowledge of user tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
