Job Description

Join a global team that powers exceptional client service across J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Partner with advisors, product specialists, and technologists to deliver rigorous KYC/AML control while enabling growth. Build multiregion regulatory expertise and help enhance our client onboarding journey.

As a KYC/AML Client Onboarding Specialist within Asset Management Client Service, you will execute endtoend onboarding and recertifications in adherence with Firm KYC Policy. You will research public sources, assess risk by product and booking location, and coordinate with stakeholders to complete highquality KYC files. You will also support dashboards, change requests, and quality management to drive productivity and control.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute client onboarding and periodic KYC refresh within policy and SLAs.
  • Conduct publicdomain research to validate identity and documentation.
  • Review and disposition adverse media, PEP, and sanctions screening alerts.
  • Assess risk by product, booking location, and other applicable factors.
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Compliance, and senior management on approvals.
  • Coordinate KYC file requirements with internal stakeholders to ensure completeness.
  • Escalate material sanctions or adverse media per firm procedures.
  • Develop regulatory knowledge across US, UK, Luxembourg, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and Japan.
  • Drive productivity and automation initiatives in partnership with Technology.
  • Maintain dashboards, track change requests, and support quality management.
  • Document decisions and maintain auditable records in approved systems.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bring at least 5 years experience in KYC/AML, Compliance, and financial product analysis.
  • Communicate effectively in written and spoken English with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate selfmotivation, ownership, and a strong work ethic.
  • Collaborate in a teamoriented, crossfunctional environment.
  • Prioritize multiple responsibilities and adhoc requests in a fastpaced setting.
  • Learn quickly and execute new tasks in real time with accuracy.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint proficiently.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Apply Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation.
  • Script Python solutions to streamline operational processes.
  • Build Tableau dashboards for KYC metrics and quality insights.
  • Enhance control design and procedures across onboarding and refresh.
  • Optimize screening workflows and reduce false positives.
  • Integrate feedback from Compliance and Technology to improve efficiency.
  • Mentor peers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
