Job Description

Pearson is dedicated to designing and deploying educator workforce solutions to ensure every learner has capable educators. We are seeking an Assessment Program Coordinator to directly support our state programs. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting with the development and implementation of large-scale educator credentialing programs. This position requires swift action, exceptional multitasking abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, successful problem-solving, and the capacity to direct multiple projects simultaneously. You will work from our Pearson India office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for major components of test development, test administration, and test scoring and results reporting (e.g., test materials review conferences, content validation surveys, field tests, test preparation resources).
  • Prepare logistics for, coordinate, and may facilitate external stakeholder conferences (e.g., test materials review conferences).
  • Conduct internal meetings and workshops; may deliver online presentations.
  • Guide, review, and maintain quality control on all major project products (e.g., reports, tests).
  • Adjust current processes, when appropriate, to improve the delivery, coordination, or quality of contract deliverables.
  • Perform other project support activities as required.

Required Experience

  • Successful experience working on a project team.
  • Demonstrated communication skills and technical writing abilities.
  • Proven experience in synthesizing requirements and applying them in demonstrated project activities.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and produce high-quality and accurate work under time constraints.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills; demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships at all levels of the organization, including the ability to work effectively within a project team and across departments in a remote environment.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, and experience with Smartsheet, and remote meeting tools such as MS Teams.
