Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Shop Maintenance Team Member to join our dynamic team on the shop floor. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the assembly processes by maintaining equipment, assisting with repairs, and supporting overall shop cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and contribute to a collaborative team environment while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on assembly equipment and tools.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical failures and electrical issues as they arise.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify potential problems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by following 5S principles.
- Support assembly team members by providing necessary tools and resources for their tasks.
- Collaborate with supervisors and management to identify areas for improvement in processes and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and assist in promoting a culture of safety within the shop.
- Document maintenance activities and report equipment conditions to superiors.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.

Tools and Equipment:
- Hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.)
- Power tools (drills, saws, etc.)
- Diagnostic tools and equipment for machinery.
- Safety equipment (gloves, goggles, ear protection, etc.)
- Maintenance management software (if applicable).
- Various lifting and handling equipment (e.g., hoists, forklifts).
