Hiring: ASR & Transcription Specialist

We are looking for detail-oriented professionals to join a specialist team working on Automated Speech Recognition (ASR), long-form transcription, and AI-driven media services.

Contract: 3 Months

Compensation: 10 LPA

Own Laptop: Mandatory

Typing Speed: 65+ WPM with 99%+ accuracy

• Review and correct machine-generated transcripts across different audio qualities and background noise conditions

• Identify and correct substitution, insertion and deletion errors

• Perform accurate speaker labeling and audio segmentation

• Handle overlapping speech, cross-talk and rapid conversational turn-taking

• Accurately capture stutters, filler words, false starts and non-verbal audio markers

• Follow strict verbatim and clean-read transcription conventions

• Work with specialized terminology and detailed transcription style guides

• Cross-check extracted text from document images and video captions

• Maintain high accuracy and consistency across long-form transcription assignments

0–1 year of experience in transcription, captioning, subtitling, court reporting or related services

Typing speed of 65+ WPM with 99%+ accuracy

Strong understanding of Word Error Rate (WER) metrics and timecoding

Excellent English listening comprehension and written communication

C1-level English proficiency

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle transcription errors

Medical, legal, corporate, financial or engineering transcription experience

Multilingual capabilities

Experience with Express Scribe, InqScribe, Aegisub or CAT tools
