JOB TITLE: ASM, Mechanical Design Engineer

Years of Exp: 8-12 Years

Role overview:

System lead engineer with structural design experience & Hand calculations. He/she needs to have extensive product/component design & development including testing.

On a typical day you will:

• Act as lead engineer for mechanical systems and technical documentation

• Responsible for design, development and testing of mechanical components / Assemblies

• Perform hand calculations for system, component strength calculation and preparation of layout arrangement considering all product performing boundary conditions

• Perform the code gap analysis on both system and components

• Evaluating Tender technical clauses compliance, Engineering standards compliance along with applicable codes

• Understanding and performing FMEA, RRCA to FTB's (Field Turn Backs)

• Preparation of Test Plan for System & Component qualification plan for the mechanical components and sub-systems

• Perform system performance testing and component/subsystem qualification for prototype and support to type testing

• Able to deliver independently and providing necessary guidance for Engineers

• Able to mingle with CFT and drive the projects for closures

• Able to collaborate with widely diversified teams including abroad Engineering teams for program/project deliverables

What you will need to be successful:

• BE/Btech in Mechanical
• 8 to 11 years in Mechanical Engineering of product design & development respectively.
• Knowledge and experience on CREO and AUTOCAD/E3 and Microsoft OFFICE is essential.
