ASIC CAD Lead Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Deploy and support front-end tools like RTL simulators, low power tools, and static RTL checkers (Lint, CDC, RDC, SDC, DFT)
• Develop scripts for regression automation and debug flows, enabling CI/CD
• Streamline compute infrastructure usage using load distribution tools
• Gather internal user requirements and build supporting capabilities
• Integrate tools, repositories, and compute systems using custom scripts
• Configure and maintain project dashboards for monitoring progress
• Interface with EDA vendors for license management and tool setup
• Roll out CAD tools and methodologies across global engineering teams

What You Need To Have:

• B.Tech or equivalent degree
• 10+ years of experience in CAD or related disciplines
• 4+ years in CAD role on large ASIC (100M+ gate) projects
• Deep understanding of ASIC flow and processes
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, C, and Makefiles
• Experience administering Linux systems (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise)
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git or Mercurial
• Quick learner with excellent execution and debugging skills
• Familiarity with industry-standard CAD tools

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Kubernetes or LSF
• Exposure to hardware design flows, SystemVerilog, Verilog
• Knowledge of EDA/CAD environments and web frameworks like JavaScript, CSS
