Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Angular Developer to join our engineering team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular, cloud-native development on GCP, and backend development using Java or Golang.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while collaborating with cross-functional global teams during the specified shift hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and responsive web applications using Angular.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Java or Golang.
- Develop, deploy, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through best practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6 to 9 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Angular (latest versions preferred), including RxJS, NgRx, and component-based architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Strong backend development experience with Java or Golang.
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good To Have
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud security and performance optimization.
- Experience working with global teams and supporting applications in different time zones.
