AS400 Senior Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain IBM i AS400 applications aligned with business requirements
• Develop and enhance RPGLE programs ensuring code quality reusability and maintainability
• Perform impact analysis effort estimation and technical design for new features and enhancements
• Debug production issues perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes with proper documentation
• Optimize program performance and improve batch online processing reliability on AS400
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to clarify requirements validate solutions and support releases
• Create and execute unit test cases support system integration testing and ensure defect free delivery
• Maintain technical documentation including program specs change logs and support notes
