AS400 Senior Developer

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain IBM i (AS400) applications aligned with business requirements.

Develop and enhance RPGLE programs, ensuring code quality, reusability, and maintainability.

Perform impact analysis, effort estimation, and technical design for new features and enhancements.

Debug production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes with proper documentation.

Optimize program performance and improve batch/online processing reliability on AS400.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, validate solutions, and support releases.

Create and execute unit test cases, support system/integration testing, and ensure defect-free delivery.

Maintain technical documentation, including program specs, change logs, and support notes.
