Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of AS400/iSeries applications.
- Analyze, estimate, and plan AS400 development tasks aligned with project timelines and priorities.
- Review code, enforce standards, and ensure high performance, security, and reliability of AS400 solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes. Solution Design & Collaboration
- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs on AS400.
- Design and optimize batch jobs, interfaces, and integrations with surrounding systems.
- Collaborate with QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and stable environments.
- Knowledge of more than one technology
- Basics of Architecture and Design fundamentals
- Knowledge of Testing tools
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
- Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
