AS400 Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Work onAS400with expertise inI5250 and Prestofor inventory and order fulfillment.
• Utilizemodern RPG techniques includingRPG, RPGLE, andEmbedded SQL.
• Design and develop applications usingRPG, RPGLE, CL400, and CLLE.
• Perform database design and development onDB2/400, ensuring efficient query execution and optimization.
• Develop and troubleshoot applications using AS400 tools likeSDA, RLU, and PDM.
• Write and optimizecomplex SQL queriesfor embedded and interactive sessions.
• Perform end-to-endunit testing, debug interactive and batch jobs, and ensure seamless functionality of applications.
• Collaborate directly withclient teamsto gather business requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring smooth operations and performance.
• Work withone or more change management tools such asAldon, Turnover, or Thenon(preferred).
• Be adaptable to switching between tasks, handling bothdevelopment and maintenance activities.
