Role Description
We are looking for a highly motivated AI/ML Engineer to drive research and innovation at our startup. This role goes beyond traditional developmentyou will work closely with our core team to explore new ideas, experiment with emerging technologies, and build intelligent systems that enhance and transform our existing geospatial products.
You will play a key role in taking our current capabilities to the next level by integrating AI deeply into our platforms and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- LeadR&D initiativesto explore and implement cutting-edge AI/ML solutions
- Build and experiment withinnovative AI models, agents, and automation systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams tointegrate AI into existing applications and workflows
- DriveAI-assisted development practicesto improve team productivity and code quality
- Work onGeoAI use cases, including imagery analysis, spatial insights, and predictive modeling
- Prototype, test, and iterate rapidly on new ideas and concepts
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, and applied machine learning
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience inAI/ML development or research-oriented roles
- Strong understanding ofmachine learning, deep learning, and/or LLMs
- Experience in buildingAI-powered applications, models, or agents
- Proficiency inPythonand common AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Experience withAI-assisted coding toolsand automation workflows
- Strong problem-solving mindset with an inclination towardexperimentation and innovation
Good to Have
- Interest in or willingness to learnGIS / geospatial technologies
- Experience withGeoAI, remote sensing, or spatial data analysis
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience in buildingend-to-end AI systems (from data to deployment)
- Exposure to startup environments or fast-paced product teams
