Artificial Intelligence Intern

Role Overview

NR Consulting is looking for a curious and motivated Artificial Intelligence Intern to support AI-related research, data analysis, automation, model testing, prompt engineering, and business use case development. This role is suitable for freshers, students, or early-career candidates who want hands-on exposure to artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support AI research, data collection, and use case analysis.
• Assist in testing AI tools, models, prompts, and automation workflows.
• Work with datasets for cleaning, labeling, organizing, and basic analysis.
• Help build proof-of-concepts for AI-driven business solutions.
• Support prompt engineering for generative AI tools and internal automation use cases.
• Assist in documenting AI workflows, test results, model outputs, and improvement areas.
• Collaborate with technical, business, and operations teams to understand AI requirements.
• Research new AI tools, trends, and practical applications for business use.
• Support basic machine learning or NLP tasks under guidance.
• Maintain confidentiality and responsible use of data and AI tools.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data analytics.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Excel, or any data analysis tool.
• Interest in generative AI, prompt engineering, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts such as datasets, models, training, testing, and evaluation.
• Good analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and work on practical AI use cases.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Basic understanding of NLP, chatbots, LLMs, APIs, or automation tools.
• Academic projects, internships, or certifications in AI, ML, data science, or automation will be an advantage.
• Experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or similar AI platforms.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms or Git will be useful.

Qualification

• Pursuing or completed B.Tech, B.E., BCA, MCA, B.Sc., M.Sc., or related qualification in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, AI/ML, or Engineering.
• Freshers with strong interest in AI and practical learning may apply.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be curious, logical, research-oriented, and comfortable experimenting with new technologies. This role is best suited for someone who does not just ask AI for answers, but also asks why the answer is wrong sometimes.
