AI Engineer (Senior)

Own the ML layer for i3w's production systems: a malnutrition risk-prediction platform forgovernment child-nutrition programs, a voice-first AI tutor for NEET/JEE aspirants, andcurriculum-aligned RAG pipelines. Build safety filters, evaluation frameworks, and predictivemodels end-to-end — with real deployment stakes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build RAG pipelines for NCERT/CBSE content with regional-language support
• Implement safety filters and guardrails for student-facing AI
• Design evaluation frameworks (automated, human-in-the-loop, regression)
• Build predictive models on noisy government health data
• Develop the voice pipeline (STT → LLM → TTS) with Hinglish support
• Set up ML monitoring (drift, quality, latency, cost) and own production reliability

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 5+ years in applied ML or NLP
• Strong Python (PyTorch / TensorFlow / scikit-learn)
• Hands-on with LLMs (prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector stores)
• Ability to design an eval suite, not just run one
• Cloud ML infrastructure (GCP Vertex AI preferred; SageMaker / Azure ML also fine)
• Experience taking ML systems from prototype to production

NICE TO HAVE

• Speech/voice AI (Whisper, Deepgram, TTS, WebRTC)
• Production experience with Gemini / Claude / GPT-4
• Indian language NLP (Hindi, Odia, Hinglish)
• EdTech, health-tech, or public-sector ML background
