Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Articled Assistant, located in Chennai. The Articled Assistant will assist in conducting statutory and internal audits, preparing and filing income tax and GST returns, performing compliance and regulatory tasks, and supporting financial advisory and due diligence assignments. The role involves preparing reports, managing client records, coordinating with external clients, and working closely with team members to meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxation, including GST and Income Tax laws
- Proficiency in using accounting and audit software, as well as Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Good organizational abilities to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Eligibility to pursue or currently pursuing the CA Articleship under ICAI
- Prior internship experience or exposure to the fields of accounting, tax, or audit is a plus
